The Reader is a very good film. I highly recommend it.
Kate Winslet has been rewarded for her great performance and is nominated for the Oscar. Yet, the movie is much more than her.
The story is heavy and destined to make us think about the weight of guilt and the price of pride and how pride can be the only escape for guilt, although no solution at all for it.
I left the theater with one big question hanging on in my mind: how different would the outcome be, if Michael had told Hanna how important she was for him?
